Overview
Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA)
EVA is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate. The vinyl acetate content (typically from a few percent up to around 40%) controls how soft, flexible and clear the material is — higher VA content gives a softer, more rubber-like product.
EVA combines the processability of polyethylene with rubber-like flexibility, good clarity and excellent toughness at low temperatures, making it popular for footwear, foams and films.
